YOUR FUTURE: SHINE LIKE STARS

Dawn. The hope for a brighter future. Though incredibly difficult to wait, there is a light on its way that will quickly change the way we see the world before us. As the sun peaks its head over the horizon, the beautiful creation that was thought to be long-surrendered to the despair of night is revealed again.
The Bible paints a picture similar to that of dusk, night and dawn. Its first two chapters describe God creating the earth and everything in it perfect. But the story soon darkens in the third chapter as humans begin to rebel. While it starts at the level of two people, things quickly escalate. The rebellion of these individuals gives rise to a rebellion of a group of people, then to entire nations who do battle with each other and God. The rebellion multiplied. And multiplied. And multiplied.
But Jesus came and retold that story, ushering in a new way of life characterized by living in communion with each other and with God. He empowered his followers to take part in the process of retelling the story, transforming lives in the same way we rebelled—from individuals to groups to entire nations.
This is the mission of the Northstar Church Multiplication Center, continuing the story that Jesus began so the brilliance of the Kingdom of God can be revealed in all of its width and length and height and depth. Just as the sun returns each morning, we know that Jesus is on his way back and is still at work making all things new. We merely wish to reflect the light of Christ that is yet to be fully revealed, shining like stars in the inky darkness of neighborhoods, towns and cities in need of Jesus. Through equipping churches and church planters, we seek to help people return from their rebellion to the beautiful story that God has called us to live in—loving God, loving others, and multiplying the number of Jesus followers along the way.
While these are our stories, we hope you will adopt them as your own and join in what God is doing through the Northstar Church Multiplication Center. Whether you are a church planter looking for a place to connect and be encouraged, a church wanting to increase your impact by multiplying, or someone interested in learning about how to plant a church, we want to assist you in any way possible as fellow agents of the Kingdom.
